Directing/producing: Arrivals and Departures (St Martins Theatre), A Dream Play (Ignite), 3 Short Absurd Works (Ignite), Jet of Blood (Ignite - 2006 Melbourne Fringe, 2007 Adelaide Fringe), Bat Boy: the Musical (Ignite), The Shape of Things (Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre), Mozart’s The Abduction from the Seraglio (Lyric Opera), Eddie Perfect’s Welcome to the Inside of Ed’s Head (Chapel off Chapel), and Down the Road (Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre). Assistant/Associate Director: Woyzeck (Malthouse, Besen Family Foundation Residency), The 39 Steps (MTC & Tinderbox), Myth, Propaganda and Disaster in Nazi Germany and Contemporary America (Playbox / ABC Radio), & Blue/Orange (MTC).
Olivia was nominated for a 2006 Green Room Award for direction. Her company Ignite was awarded Best Ensemble at the 2006 Melbourne Fringe and nominated at the Green Room Awards. Over the last 4 years, Olivia has taught and directed numerous productions at St Martin’s Youth Theatre. Olivia is the newly appointed Artistic Director of Riverland Youth Theatre in South Australia.

Brett brings with him a diverse range of performing arts experiences and management skills. An accomplished saxophone player, Brett graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Jazz) in 1985 from the South Australian College of Advanced Education, and then moved to Sydney to join the 8 piece rhythm and blues band Fat Time that toured extensively around Australia supporting acts such as Santana and Joe Cocker. He has taught saxophone around the country, and has freelanced with a variety of artists and ensembles including Ray Charles, Shirley Bassey, Jerry Lewis, Sydney Dance Company, Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and Adelaide based bands Goose and Marmalade Circus. Brett has also performed on numerous recordings and theatre productions. In 1995 Brett received a Graduate Diploma in Management (Arts) from the University of South Australia and has worked in various roles such as an artist manager, an industrial advocate, and as administrator for the Australian Network for Art and Technology. |

Toni has lived in the Riverland since the late 1980’s where she has been predominately employed in the not for profit sector. She completed her Certificate IV in Financial Services in 2007 juggling part time work, study and a young family. After a small break from study, she is presently working towards her Diploma in Financial Services Accounting. Toni joined RYT in October 2005 working one day per week. Around this time she took the plunge into self employment providing a mobile book keeping services to local Riverland businesses. She finds the constant demand in securing funding and the monitoring of RYT finances both challenging and rewarding. Exposure to the world of Theatre and the Arts is relatively new to her but has become a both interesting and enjoyable benefit of being involved in RYT. |
 Shaylee Leech

Shaylee has lived in the Riverland for the majority of her life, and is one of RYT’s longest members, being involved with such productions as, Landed (2006), Hoons (2008), & BigSmoke (2010). At age 15 she won a 3 year Performing Arts Scholarship to Wilderness School, where she boarded & participated in 5 large school productions, & completed year 12, gained her SACE certificate & a cert II in Multimedia. In 2010 she joined RYT’s staff through Carclew’s Arts Administration Traineeship program; she was one of 600 applicants going for 10 positions. This traineeship will provide her with insight into how a range of art organizations work, office skills, a Cert III in Business & a wide network of contacts to support her in her future career. In her spare time she does freelance photography and design, some of which is featured on RYT’s website & program. | .

Alysha is a parent and emerging writer/director/performer who lives, works and plays in the Riverland region of South Australia. Alysha has maintained a strong commitment to RYT as a Board member, Participant, Tutor and Emerging Writer, Performer & Director since 2004. Recent highlights include attendance as an Australian delegate at World Interplay, an international conference for emerging playwrights in 2009, her play the trees being produced in 2009 by both Urban Myth Theatre for Youth and Canberra Youth Theatre and RYT's commission Duplicity for its annual short play festival PlayFest in 2009. In 2010 Alysha has been a Theatre Assessor for the Adelaide Fringe and is currently undertaking a JUMP mentorship with Alison Howard in Community Arts & Theatre.

Claire Dalzell comes from North Wales in the UK and from a young age commenced participated in theatre and dance which led to many performing opportunities and experiences with pantomime companies and the Welsh National Opera. Claire studied Broadcasting at University in the South of England and worked for a company called SB Entertainments assisting and leading dance and drama classes for young people. She has toured throughout the UK to schools with a theatre-in-education company Dr Suess based production. After immigrating to Australia she worked for the education department in various roles, was production manager for RYT’s recent production of Hoons and is a tutor for drama workshops at RYT. |
Tully Bates Creative Producer, PlayFest_10 |
Tully is a writer and editor who runs a successful internet based employment business. She has a Bachelor of Arts from UniSA, where she studied professional writing, communication and children's literature. Growing up in NSW, she was very active in youth and community theatre and continued to be involved in productions throughout high school and university. Having recently settled in the Riverland she was very excited to become involved in RYT through PlayFest_08. In 2009 she has gone on to join the Board of RYT and became the creative producer of PlayFest_09. |
Deven Blain Dance Workshop Tutor

Deven is an experienced dancer and dance tutor. She joins RYT after working as a dance tutor with Footsteppes Studio and at OSHC programs. Deven is a Renmark High School graduate who will bring her skills to the RYT dance progam to teach contemporary dance, choreography and hip hop. |
