RANDOM GIRLS was a co-production between Riverland Youth Theatre and Vitalstatistix National Women’s Theatre in collaboration with participants from the TALKING REALITIES Peer Education Program. Marisa Mastrocola and Lucien Simon from Riverland Youth Theatre conceived the project early in 2003. Riverland Regional Health Services Inc, the organisation running TALKING REALITIES, came on board after their participants showed an interest in being part of a performance project that would explore the stories and issues of young mothers from the Riverland.  Random Girls performed as part of the 2005 Come Out Festival with a season in the Riverland and Adelaide.
