Riverland Youth Theatre is excited to announce the launch of its 2008 Program. The launch is scheduled for Thursday 31st January.
The event also celebrates a new corporate identity, logo, and web site.
Highlights of the 2008 Program include:
HOONS – A production designed to raise awareness and promote positive messages about road and driver safety. Hoons will perform in the Adelaide Fringe and tour regional and metropolitan schools as part of the Fringe’s Youth Education Program during March.
Afterschool Drama and the new Dance Workshops will be available for participants from 5 years of age during school terms.
In-School and Community Arts Programs will provide support to existing curriculums and specific regional needs.
Playfest_08 is an open access community short play festival.
Artistic Director Julie Waddington says:
“I’m very excited about the 2008 Program and look forward to the challenges of presenting a program full of accessible performing arts experiences to young people of the Riverland”.
