Riverland Youth Theatre (RYT) has a wonderful gift of space in our venue to share with artists in South Australia and from interstate. The recently upgraded Renmark Institute is a comfortable and versatile rehearsal and performance space. The Riverland offers an environment conducive for creative dreams to take shape.

In 2009 RYT will introduce the INCUBATOR program and offer free (in-kind) access to accommodation and rehearsal space for one to four weeks for individuals and groups of emerging, early career and independent artists as a resource towards the creation of new Australian performance work.

Through this residential program RYT will bring creative teams of writers, actors, directors, designers, dancers and other performing artists to the Riverland during the creative development stages of arts projects. In receipt visiting artists will be asked to share their skills with young people and the community in a gift-back workshop arrangement.

 RYT is asking for both expressions of interest and letters of support from individuals and groups. This will provide us with evidence that there is both the need and support from the wider arts community to warrant us to progress the program.
