Riverland headspace was officially launched yesterday and RYT members stepped up to help the proceedings

Riverland headspace will offer young people aged 12-25 a youth specific service incorporating youth mental health and drug and alcohol services.   Riverland headspace will provide a single entry point for young people to access information, resources and services and will be centrally located in the town of Berri with satellite locations in all of the other major Riverland towns Renmark, Waikerie, Loxton and Barmera. Young people will have access to Riverland headspace through face to face contact or via the web, phone or SMS. Riverland headspace will focus on early intervention strategies through linkages with local schools (via school counsellors and chaplains), TAFE, General Practice and existing dedicated youth programs and youth mental health programs and drug and alcohol related programs.
