A project in partnership with the Riverland District Education Office and local schools, Julie Waddington and Finnegan Kruckemeyer will work with local primary schools to deliver a series of creative workshops in myth and Epic Theatre storying-telling inspired by the perceptions, fears, excitement and imagination about what the city is/or might be like in the minds of isolated regional youth.
Participants will develop performance and writing skills and witness their stories come to life. The workshops will also contribute to research towards a creative development of a new work for primary school audiences by young people (aged 16-26) and professional artists including a writer, designers and actors. Three special work experience placements will be available during the creative development week.
