Cirkidz Circus Workshops April School Holidays 2020

SA Circus Centre, the home of CIRKIDZ presents

Tackerz and Tweenz will learn teamwork and co-operation skills as they explore thrilling new ways to move their bodies and flex their creativity! We will be focusing on developing a variety of fundamentals in various circus disciplines including tumbling, juggling, trampoline, acrobatics, balance and more! Improve coordination, strength and flexibility via games, activities, structured play and group work.

This will culminate in a final showing on Thursday 23rd April 5:30pm – 6:00pm.

Paid work for local talent

Paid work for local talent

Essential Talent is looking for Riverland based performers for the April School holiday break for a local shopping centre.

Essential Talent are offering roles for the following:

  • A suit operator for Easter Bunny
  • A costumed Alice

Both these performers will rove around the shopping centre meeting and greeting children and their families.

The call time is for 3 hours a day 10.30am – 1.30pm.  Over the three hours the Easter Bunny and Alice minder rove for 20 minutes and take a 20 minute break. It can be quite hot in the Easter Bunny suit.

Costumes will be supplied.

Manager for Craft Activity – Assist and oversee craft activities. Craft materials supplied.

All roles require an up to date Working With Children Screen.

Calling Hollywood! Weekly Workshops

Over the seven weekly workshops children ages 10 – 12 will unleash their inner movie star. Through these weekly workshops creative adventures begin where participants will discover improvisation, characterisation, creative writing, turning words into actions, uncovering and developing acting skills both on stage and in front of the camera. These workshops are open to all skill levels.

Funky Fairy Tales Workshops

Over the seven weekly workshops, children ages 5 – 9 will commence their creative journey. Through the magic of fairy tales the participants will discover performance, creative writing, creating and performing their own fairy tales, direction and production with lots of fun added to the mix.

Farewell 2019

Big thank you to all our young artists and supporters in 2019. Last Friday we farewelled Artistic Director, Chris Bond who has returned to the city. Chookas Chris on your new creative adventures! We are having a summer break and will be back in early February with a new model and look for RYT in 2020.
