Danyon De Buell – General Manager

A background in visual arts and performing arts, Danyon worked with Indigenous communities in arts development . Relocating to the Riverland Danyon worked with the culturally and linguistically diverse communities in arts development.   As a freelance arts worker  coordinated the highly successful Riverland Multicultural Festival 2011.   Danyon is Deputy Chair, Riverland Multicultural Forum Inc and a Ministerial appointed member of Riverland Multicultural Regional Advisory Committee.  For the past 2 years she has worked as Settlement Officer for Migrant Resource Centre SA. Danyon has had a long association with RYT since 1995.  In 2013 Danyon received the Governors Multicultural Award for Arts & Culture.

Celeste Cody – Artistic Director

Celeste has focused a career in the Arts on quality and community, with ten years of fringe, professional and educational theatre experience as a director, producer, designer, mentor, writer and collaborator. Celeste was one of the founding members and Co-Artistic Director of exciting Melbourne based theatre company Attic Erratic. For 2012 & 2013, Celeste held the position of Melbourne Festival Director for Short+Sweet. Working mainly with new Australian work, Celeste has directed and produced numerous acclaimed productions across Australia. Her recent shows “Tripped”, “Purgatorio” and “Choir Girl”, all received 5 star rated reviews and had showings at various festivals, including Darwin Festival with the Darwin Youth Choir. Celeste has worked for the past 6 years as a guest presenter and director at high schools and universities and has been the recipient of awards including Best Director for Short+Sweet, Globe Shakespeare Festival, MUST and Pink Shorts.
