Danyon De Buell – General Manager


A background in visual arts and performing arts, Danyon worked with Indigenous communities in arts development . Relocating to the Riverland Danyon worked with the culturally and linguistically diverse communities in arts development.   As a freelance arts worker  coordinated the highly successful Riverland Multicultural Festival 2011.   Danyon is Deputy Chair, Riverland Multicultural Forum Inc and a Ministerial appointed member of Riverland Multicultural Regional Advisory Committee.  For the past 2 years she has worked as Settlement Officer for Migrant Resource Centre SA. Danyon has had a long association with RYT since 1995.  In 2013 Danyon received the Governors Multicultural Award for Arts & Culture.

Chris Bond – Artistic Director

Christopher Bond is a director, producer and dramaturg with a focus on social, economic and political themes. He holds a Bachelor of Arts – Drama, and a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Honours) – Directing, both from Flinders University.  In 2017 Christopher travelled to Sydney and completed his Masters of Fine Arts – Directing at NIDA. Christopher has directed and workshopped theatre at Flinders University, the University of Wollongong, the National Institute of Dramatic Arts, the National Institute of Circus Arts and the Aboriginal Centre for the Performing Arts. He has also directed actors from the Actors Centre Australia and the Adelaide College of the Arts. Christopher has also worked with Young and Emerging Artists from the Australia Chamber Orchestra. His 2018 Adelaide Fringe work Aphrodite and the Invisable Consumer Gods was awarded the ‘Adelaide Festival Centre inSPACE Development Award’
