Creativity has no rules!
AFTER SCHOOL skills based workshops provide opportunities to explore and discover creativity, confidence and expression in a fun and relaxed environment. Workshops run for 8 weeks during each school term at the Renmark Institute and end in KAPOW, our twice-yearly showcase for parents and friends. See term flyers and our website for details of times, dates and prices. Workshop prices for 2008 have been subsidised by a special drought relief grant from SAYAB.

Drama Studio 5-8 yrs
Drama games, improvisation, movement, song and storytelling are explored through fun creative play activities designed to stimulate imagination, confidence and self expression. At Drama Studio children will make new friends and learn how to be focused, creative individuals whilst developing as supportive team players. |

Act Now 9-12 yrs
Let your imagination run wild and get busy creating drama based on your own ideas. Act Now provides a great introduction to theatre and performance and encourages creative thinking and expression. Join in, have fun, meet new friends, create your own stories and develop skills in improvisation, characterisation and performance making. |

Stage Diving 13-16 yrs
If drama really is your thing and you want to get more involved then Stage Diving is for you. These workshops explore and develop more complex theatre skills in improvisation, characterisation, movement, voice and working with scripts in a stimulating, creative, high energy environment while creating your own theatre. No previous experience is required—just a desire to be creative and express your thoughts and ideas through performance. |

Actors Lab 16+ yrs
Actors Lab will explore advanced techniques for using the body and voice in performance through collaboration and creative risk-taking. It is suitable for both experienced performers and those new to theatre. Develop skills in movement, improvisation, scene work and monologues in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will also be supported in creating new works for RYT projects and community events.

DANCE @ RYT
Strut your stuff, step to the beat and have fun learning new moves. Dance workshops at RYT will actively inspire creativity, self esteem and cooperation.

FEES IN 2008
Special drought relief funding from SAYAB and SA CWA have allowed us to further discount RYT’s already subsidised workshop fees on all After School DRAMA workshops by up to 30%.
SCHOLARSHIPS
Special funding from SAYAB and donations through our ‘Friends of RYT’ program have enabled a social inclusion fund to provide scholarships for disadvantaged young people to participate in RYT workshops. Please ask the office for an application form.
FREE RYT BUS
The bus will run to/from Berri for the 9-12, 13-16 and 16+ workshops. Participants MUST contact the RYT office to book their place on the bus.
