Every year RYT artists interact with over 1000 young people in a wide range of arts activities. By engaging local artists and specialist visiting artists, RYT tailors a program specific to the needs of young people within a school or community group to provide creative experiences that support the development of self-esteem, team building, communication, leadership, performance skills and creative expression.
RYT can create workshops and projects specifically for your school, club or community organisation. Whether you need artistic support to create a specific performance for an event, a series of workshops towards performance and social skill development or a one off workshop that enhances areas of study, we can provide a valuable opportunity to work with professional artists suited to your needs.
RYT’s Artistic Director Julie Waddington works with schools and organisations to develop a program which is relevant and engaging for both students and staff. Workshop plans are provided, including indication of skills targeted, activities and resources used.
Depending on your needs RYT can access local, Adelaide based or interstate artists to work with your school or organisation.
Costs start at $95 per hour plus GST. Additional costs including travel and accommodation maybe required for visiting artists. RYT endeavours to engage visiting artists across several programs to reduce the on-costs to schools.
